A Handbook for Ecstatic Survival
This year and next will bring dance lovers and all cultural enthusiasts an exceptional and many-layered opportunity to witness the unfolding of an historical self-portrait and living retrospective by David as he reflects, through multi-generational encounters with the acclaimed artists with whom he has mentored or shared work over the last five decades, through his personal artifacts, and through new creation.
These acclaimed senior artists will in turn mentor emerging dancers from DtDE’s Mentorship & Apprentice Program (M/A.P.).
More than a soul-quenching cultural feast, A Handbook for Ecstatic Survival will offer audiences a deeper appreciation of the profound impact David’s work has had upon generations of artists.
Support the Project – a living retrospective of a dance pioneer
Like many organizations in a climate deeply challenged for sufficient resources, DtDE relies upon dedicated donors to enable performances, initiatives such as the Mentorship Program, and ongoing creation such as this.
You are an essential part of our success!
By supporting Dancetheatre David Earle, you are investing in both quality of life and culture, and helping to sustain an artistic legacy for the next generation. Your support is vital to help us continue our work as a cultural community of performance, mentorship and legacy.
